AUGUST 2025
BBC Breakfast x GWR
(70th Year Anniversary celebration)

GWR X BEDS RCC X BETTER
On the 19th Janaury 2026, I beat the Guinness World Record for the Most Plyometric Push ups in 1 Minute.
The purpose of the attempt was to raise awareness/support and money for mental health & wellbeing, as well as demonstrating the crucial role exercise can play, particularly at a challenging time of year for many people. “Blue Monday’’ (19th Jan) was chosen as January is often a time of year associated with people struggling with financial pressures, anxieties about the year ahead and Seasonal Affective Disorder. Suicide rates are also very high unfortuantely as well.
I am very pleased to announce that the event raised £2,250 for mental health & wellbeing. A huge thank you to every single one of you who contributed, donated or supported in any way.

Following the successful GWR attempt, I was invited to onto BBC Look East.
